So imagine my relief when I bit into a Jaffa and that delicious orangey flavour was the same as when I loved in New Zealand. A rush of memories came back of living in Waikouaiti and the shop on beach road where I would spend all my babysitting money on Jaffas. I can still eat a box in one sitting. Or two. Or occasionally five if I'm feeling extra nostalgic... Simply delicious. Here's hoping giant Jaffas might be for sale soon too!!!

Saturdays at the flicks   Currently 5/5 Stars. 1 2 3 4 5 By Denice Jaffas always take me back to being a kid and going to the flicks (for non Kiwis movies) on a Saturday. Why? well at half time we always got an ice cream (from the Adams Bruce shop at the theatre) and a packet of Jaffas. The boys all used to roll their jaffas down the sloping theatre floor and the girls would all giggle. Many would also use the Jaffas to flavour their plain ice creams, first orange and then as the shell wore away chocolate. Years later as an adult I was at a horror film and ped my packet of Jaffas at a creeepy moment whereupon I almost died of embarrassment. Had a bit of a silent laugh though remembering all those Saturdays of Jaffa rolling. But, apart from being a reminder of my childhood, Jaffas are one of the Kiwi greats in sweeets/lollies. The chocolate inner is a small taste of heaven and the orange shell is delightfully orangey and so delicious to suck on till you get to that chocolate ball in the middle.

Jaffa yummy!   Currently 5/5 Stars. 1 2 3 4 5 By Maile Butteling Got my pack of Jaffas today, and I love the Cadbury chocolate and the nice smooth orange coating surrounding it, they are small but so nice, never tasted a chocolate like this before :) better stock up more soon for my fiance the Kiwi :)
