By Jane I've never stopped loving these toffees, I've been eating them for nearly 50 years! They're rich and creamy, chewy without being too hard and come in a packet of mixed flavours. My favourite is coconut, who else makes coconut flavoured toffee? There's also original toffee, mint, malt, eggs and cream and harrogate which is a kind of citrus flavour. Each toffee has a different colour wrap. Just thinking about them is making my mouth water, glad they're available in the UK, it's too long to wait between trips to Oz!
By Maile Butteling I love Toffee, when it gets on my teeth, chew till my jaws get sore, I wanted to try this, My boyfriend told me he love the toffees from Mackintosh, we got the package today and I loooked in the bag for the flavours..I saw coconut, I love coconut flavour candy, I munch I chew it and I come to an end, and I taste some coconut pieces! This is so nice, I never had an toffee with pieces of coconut inside, ( I still need to try the other flavours, my boyfriend loves the Egg and cream one) It's delicious! a whole new kind of Toffee!

Often companies like Bluebird and Smiths stamp their products with short dates for commercial reasons rather then any accurate reflection of actual food quality.
