Southern Synergy Ltd respects your privacy, and is committed to conforming with the requirements of the Data Protection Authority.
This document relates primarily to the privacy of information stored on: our readers; advertisers past present or future; distributors; and other industry partners (hereafter collectively called "clients").
The following principles outline how we will collect, use, disclose, store and dispose of your personal information, in both paper and electronic form.
1. Collection & Use
1.1 Southern Synergy Ltd will only store information that is of direct commercial interest to the company.
1.2 This information is collected for the purposes of providing products or services to our clients.
1.3 From time to time we will mail or email information to our clients regarding sanza.co.uk, its products and services. Should any recipient wish not to receive such information, they can request to be removed from our mailing or email list and we will promptly comply with that request.
1.4 We will always use fair and lawful ways to collect personal information.
1.5 We will always collect information directly from a client if it is reasonable and practicable to do so.
1.6 Reasonable steps will be taken to ensure personal information is relevant, accurate and current.
2. Storage & Security
2.1 We will take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
2.2 Access to personal information is restricted to authorised Southern Synergy Ltd personnel only.
2.3 Electronic data will be secured by password, and paper data will be kept in a locked filing cabinet wherever practical. (Production records and other non-sensitive information are excluded from this requirement.)
3. Passing of information to third parties.
1. Southern Synergy Ltd will not pass any information of a sensitive, confidential or personal nature to a third party unless: (a) that client consents to us doing so; or (b) that disclosure is authorised or required by law.
4. sanza.co.uk, and linked Websites
4.1 Southern Synergy Ltd operates a website under the www.sanza.co.uk address. This website helps users source products and services as well as use our online shop for products from home.
4.2 We may use a feature on your browser called a cookie to assign your computer a "user ID". Cookies do not contain information by which Southern Synergy Ltd can identify you, however they do identify your computer to our server. You may configure your browser so that you are notified before a cookie is downloaded, or so that your browser does not accept cookies. (To disable your cookies, please refer to the Help menu within your Internet browser.)
4.3 To the extent that Southern Synergy Ltd's website contain links to sites operated by third parties and not related to Southern Synergy Ltd products, services or events, these linked websites are not controlled by Southern Synergy Ltd and we are not responsible for the privacy practices of those companies.
